Our Founder

Gennie Rim is an Emmy and Academy Award-winning producer and writer with over 25 years of experience in the animation industry at Pixar, Disney, Netflix, Google and Glen Keane Productions. 

She produced the Oscar-winning short "Dear Basketball", in collaboration with animation icon Glen Keane and NBA legend Kobe Bryant, the Emmy-winning Love, Death & Robots short film "The Witness" by Alberto Mielgo. Her most recent film "Over the Moon" for Netflix achieved an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature. 

In 2026, Gennie launched Aligned Pictures to build on her experience and reimagine a new way to produce and distribute premium, artist-driven

films with stability and innovation.
